EVALUATION
Students are evaluated through the year and promotion to the next higher
class is based on the Final Consolidated Result (FCR) which is as follows-
Classes I to V are assessed in three units of 50 marks each. The percentage
of the total marks is the basis for considering promotion to the next
class.
Classes VI and above: The final consolidated result (FCR) is computed
on an aggregate of 20% of all the unit tests, 30% of the half-yearly and
50% of annual Examination.
The pass percentage in each subject is 50% for all the classes (I to XII)
An ‘I’ grade (incomplete/illness) test will be conducted for
students who have missed out any of the Tests/Exams for whatsoever reason.
This will be held after the last unit test/final exams. The marks of this
test will be considered for promotion only and not for the consolidated
percentage.
Promotion is granted on the basis of whole year’s performance, therefore
the importance of regularity in attendance and works is required of the
pupils. 75% attendance is compulsory. The Principal’s decision is
final regarding students fitness for the final promotion.
The results of the examinations are final and will not be reconsidered.
In accordance with the Board’s instructions the students are not
ranked for their performance but an over all percentage/grades will be
awarded.
One time failures will have the option of repeating the class. Two time
failures may be asked to withdraw.
The school’s decision in all matters will be final.
